Lake Superior Back Roads, Pictured Rocks National Lake Shore

| In October of 2008 we were artists in residence at Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore on the shores of Lake Superior in northern Michigan. The park is much noted for grandly colorful wind- and wave-carved stone formations that outline the park's western shoreline, but we preferred to focus on the lesser-known eastern beaches, dunes and inland trails. We spent many hours walking beaches and following trails and back roads, immersed in the complex birch-forest scents and colored splendor of a superior autumn. This series of artworks, "2008 prints", represents a few of our findings.

November 15, 2007: We have moved
|
| We have moved to northern Michigan, bought a small house, and at the moment are reassembling the same.
In the near future we will be telling the story of the McCafferty-Rudd's adventures (in words, color and form) moving to the great white north.
